Just 300 dozen of this benchmark Taurasi are produced here. A deep red with rich and mellowing characters of redcurrant and maraschino cherry, earth, mushroom and pepper. Layers of complexities sit over a remarkably lively palate – characteristic of these high vineyards. Released with a little extra age, it’s a benchmark for Aglianico.
