The range reflects Langhe in the depth and rich expression of features shared by all the territory’s wines. Ovello and Morassino are the two outstanding vineyard selections from the Bianco family estate, now firmly in the hands of the talented Roberto. Estate style aims for elegance, keeping oak from medium to large casks firmly under control.

The ’08 Morassino Langhe follows a bright and lifted style of Nebbiolo complementing its Barbaresco big brothers. This is new school Neb but without the heavy oak handling, with an elegant palate of delicate dried rose petals and some delicious refined dark fruits. The tannins are there, as it should be with Neb, but slides through in a graceful manner as to not distract away from the pretty fruit.
