Producer: Giacomo Brezza Cru ‘Sarmassa’ is almost part of the neighbouring commune of La Morra – where wines are more generous than Barolo and further east. Brezza still fashions a traditional red, but with greater lushness and generosity. Lashings of chocolate, plum/prune and raisin, slowly open up to complexities of herbs, fennel and the famous roses. |
