Castell’in Villa reserve Riserva only for the best vintages. This is deeper and darker than most Chianti, but once it’s open – it needs decanting- this has a thrilling freshness and elegance to it. The Sangiovese fruit, of purple plums, cherry and flowers opens out eventually. This is important, complex Chianti. |
