They continue to master the art of true, traditional Marsala - alongside brilliant modern table wines from higher altitude vineyards inland at Caltanisetta - vibrant whites and reds from local varieties – and sealed by screwcap! Superiore Riserva is close to the highest quality Marsala, of (at least) 10 years of age. This has fascinating complexities with aromas and flavours of raisin, dates, bitter almond and cinnamon notes. Great for stronger and aged cheeses or just solo as an after dinner wine. |
